I haven't heard anything about Aretha for this year. Last year she would have come if they could find a 2nd gig in the area. Looking forward to Robert Cray and Jonny Lang. Hopefully Tutu Jones will be back!

i followed duthie and garrett as much as icoulalsod they are great performers garrett can play with the best of thim hope they can book edgar or johnny winters or both also original p mothership returns iseen them in ftn they put on a show thats awesome

I lived in the same building as Dutch on South Bland St. in the early '70's.
A terrific guy, and Wade and I played together off and on for a year or two.Another great guy.

Dutchies original guitarist Wade Brown has just passed away at age 62 in truro. he was a fine guitarist and talented musician, he will be sorely missed!!R.I.P.

There's an article in todays Halifax paper confirming the rumors - Cray, Lang & Winter. The complete lineup will be released at the EMCA's 1st week of March.

Yeah according to Pollstar Fabulous Thunderbirds are in for friday and Jonny Lang + Robert Cray for Saturday.
Anybody know if Jimmie still plays with the Thunderbirds?

Q104 has a forum that says Jonny Lang and The Fabulous Thunderbirds are rumoured for the festival.
Whoever is coming it will be a great weekend and will definately be there again this year. Still hoping for Keith Hallett to be back. Great cd he has out.
