Bluesbro

The Blues Brothers never was about the 2 actors. It was about the great musicians they recruited into the band. Not sure of the current lineup so we'll see in August.

I agree with Blusteve. It's still a clone band, but in this case, it's closer to the original. I think it's wrong to insist that it's "the original,..." when it's obviously not true, and it reflects a lack of Blues knowledge by the organizers. As for it being a good set of Blues...you'll see much better in the late night tent by our local Blues players than by two actors playing Bluesmen, and not doing it very well.

since there seems to be a couple of openings come up I would like to suggest The Boogie Patrol for the opening act before James Cotton, they are from Edmonton, Alberta, I think they have contacted Dave, since they are a young smokin' blues band with incredible harmonica and guitars and vocal bass and drums....they would really get the crowd up for the rest of the evening!!!

heyBluSteve

It just means it's not one of several Blues Brothers clone bands out there. It's Ackroyd and company.

easy BluSteve, Duck Dunn is gone too but it'll still be a good set of blues.
