Ive been a blues fan for years and a fan of the DMBF since the beginning on the Dartmouth waterfront and I have to say that David Dewolf knows his stuff, when he puts it together the music flows and for all you Naysayers "Blues is where rock came from"{Slogan of the Festival}Friday has always been a rock blues night and the rest of the weekend you hear more of the blues. Have you heard John Oates Blues Band and what about Delbert McClinton James Cotton..Shirley King {BB'S daughter}and not to mention Marshall Tucker plus many more. I agree with BLUESFAN when they said where else do you go in Nova Scotia to see the kind of acts you see here over the years ..to get this caliber of entertainment not to mention the late night Jams, the friends you meet and the memories you make..all at one venue on one hot weekend in the summer ..it is a no brainer!!!...
I agree with Doreen if we don,t support it we may lose it and what a sad say that would be!!
So for all you Naysayers..if you can't say anything good , don't say it at all..There is months of hard work ,time and energy going into planning this festival by all of those involved so stay home or go elsewhere but you will be the ones missing out!!
