great concert for 2009...was there in 2007 as well...port-a-potties ---higher tech, kudos for not running out of essential toilet paper and water to wash hands with...BUT...put them all in a lighted area or shine more lights on them.....you do a better job than Moncton in this regard...know you can do better!!!!!

I went in 2009 for the first time. I must say I had one of the best times of my life. Great music, great atmosphere, good food and crazy partying. I will be going every year from here on out. If you haven't gone I highly suggest you do.

Great festival, Colin James was so cool to come back out and give us another 4 songs after it appeared all over. The Joe Murphy Blues tent rocked until the very wee hours, so much talent and such a great time! Thanks

Great show as usual.....Dr> Hook and Matt Minglewood where fantastic.....but the organizers need to bring back some of the upcoming talent you had a few years ago like Ross Neilsen, Mike Hallett, etc. These guys are great and should be playing in next years line up......hoping to see them ......

Great job everyone....the organizer should be proud.

Was speaking to a few campers who said everything was great, but they need to provide more showers for everyone.....

Look forward to next year again.....

DMBF09 was totally awesome, the place is so friendly all the performers were excellent but Garrett Mason was worth the price of admission alone will definitely attend again.

What a show this year! Great bands, cool motorcycles, great food, and lots of fantastic folks to meet. Every bit as good as the last two years. I brought a couple of new blues fans, and first timers at the DMBF with me this year, and they were very impressed. Hats off to the volunteers and staff who make this event a roaring success year after year!

See you'all in 2010!

  Hi,

I read that there were 4000 on hand for Friday night but how many in total for Saturday? Did it surpass the 10000 they had last year for Bonnie Raitt?

Disappointed Blues Lover

I have been going to every Blues Fest since it was in Dartmouth but with weekend ticket prices going up $30 plus tax this year I just can't afford it. Food wasn't as good last year either! Should just stick with good ol' chicken and ribs!

Have fun everyone! I really wish I could make this year's festival but its just not possible this year. I would love to see Jimmy Vaughn and Rick Derringer as it would be my first time seeing them perform. Enjoy Colin James as he always sounds great as do Fathead and Sue Foley. And I wish I could get to see James Cotton again, what a treat that was last year.
