Congrats to Jeff,Grant, and all those who worked their butts off to make the DMBF the success it is for the time it has been in Bible Hill. If campground security can be improved; it will keep growing every year.Really hope to see Clapton,BB King, or Aretha next year!!

We had another awesome time this year. We camped behind the stage the washrooms were kept very clean. My only negative comment was there was alot of dust and you should consider using something else other than water to keep it down. We would love to see someone next year like Keb Mo or Taj Mahal. Keep up the great work! Had a blast.

Another very entertaining show. Great performers.Job really well done.

The organizers may want to concider having guy washrooms separate from the girls. As my husband put it he would hate to be a girl & have to use the washroom, they were nasty.

Look forward to next years line up
Cheers

My fourth in a row. Perhaps the best yet. But I did see more 'trouble' Friday night than I did the previous 3 years combined. Super drunk people, falling into sober people. And inconsiderate smokers. Great time but for the first time I didn't feel entirely safe.

Had a great time. Lots of fun

Can someone tell me the name of the black guys who played the beer tent Saturday night. They were tight. The bass player was amazing.

  AWESOME.
What else can we say.
Had some friends down visiting from Ont (cathy&julie) who have both been to many blues festivals both in Canada & in the u.s. and have never had a better time.
We figure that it would be nice to see Keb Mo & or Taj Mahal.
Thanks for making our weekend.
See ya next time.

The people of Truro deserve a lot of credit for the success of the DMBF and Dave DeWolfe and company are doing a great job year after year for us. All the bands were good in their own styles. The James Cotton band is always a treat and Tom Holland always plays at the jam what a party. My suggestion for the future is John Mayall and the Debbie Davies band.It started for us at the ambassador dinner and for 4 days I truly felt I was sitting on top of the world ...a good place to be. See you next year Truro. Ps Thanks Dan and Trish for letting us crash at your place,it was a blast.

Once again you pulled it off. A big Thank you to Dave Dewolfe and company for making this festival fanatastique... felt right at home. I would not even dare complain as you make this festival enjoyable for all ages. The James Cotton Band, Layla Zoe, Ronnie Baker Brooks, Zac Harmon, Les Respectables were the highlights for us. Suggestions for next year bring Tom Holland& the Shuffle Kings (since Tom is already appearing with James Cotton) Debbie Davies, Coco Montoya and John Mayall would fit in very nice in this festival. Ah yes and Ronnie Baker Brooks could definitely come back as well as Layla Zoe and her band.

Kudos David,Jeff and Dutch Mason staff

I haven't missed one yet and the 6th DMF raised the bar yet again, it keeps getting better and better. The ordered up weather was a real bonus as well. Well done to everyone involved.

How about the Allman Bros for next year !! Ronnie Baker Brooks was killer, please bring him back. I'd also like to see the "best voice in Nova Scotia blues/rock circles" - Wayne Nicholson -invited next year. Perhaps an Oakley Band reunion.

Of course, we'd all love to see Clapton. Joe Bonnamassa seems like a natural at some point and what about John Mayall or Canned Heat.

I'd also like to recommend that one rock type act (Skynyrd, Bachman-Turner, Frampton)be included. Robert Cray was great but in the wrong time slot, a rockin boogie band would be a change of pace and well liked I think.

congrats on the organization, there is no better run festival !!

cheers,
Steve

Once again, I absolutely loved the Blues Fest - great organization - the organizers were on site keeping all running smooth all weekend.
I would liked to have seen more handcrafts and unique vendor items, healthier food choices, and better lighting provided for the vendors.
The music - I have no complaints - wonderful.
Please bring back the Zac Harmon Band and Layla Zoe again - they were the surprisingly stunning performers that I hadn't been aware much of before.

I would love to see BBKing and Clapton - however, I fear having Clapton there might ruin the small community festival feel that I love every year - it might draw too big of a crowd and maybe a different crowd to be prepared for.
