@Donna

  on the festival home page there's a link to Ticket Atlantic. Also on the home page click on "inquiries" and "onsite camping". Not sure if they're assigning campsites yet, but there's lots available.

  You whiners are much more narrow in your music preference than Dutch was. He'd listen to and be influenced by anything. Blues, jazz, big band(he owned Count Basie,Glen Miller,Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman & others), country and yes rock. This openness is what came to define his own sound which we all grew to love.

  Had a blast once again.Big congrats to Dewolfe and co. for putting on one of the best blues fests anywhere.

Favs for me would be Lukas Nelson,Renegade Creation,Robert Randolph and as always James Cotton...really happy to hear Cotton will be back for another year.Late night jam was awesome once again some of the best music of the weekend.

For next year I would love to see Tom Holland play with his band...I have seen this guy play the late night jam 5 yrs in a row now and he's an amazing musician .Tab Benoit or Bryan Lee would also fit in great.

Regardless who plays I can't wait for next year!
Cheers!

  Way back when Dutch was touring around
the bars in Toronto I would NEVER miss
seeing him if at all possible, even if
I had to go alone because friends were
busy. I would stay until the last
second of the the last set, sitting
quietly, unobtrusively so I wouldn't miss a thing. Loved it every time.
It was some of the very best blues I
would ever hear. His crazy stage persona
only made it better! Love that Dutch!!!

  I hope the comments in the Truro Daily by Jeff are not right and the festival is not in doubt for this year. My wife and I look forward to going every year since it has moved to Bible Hill and have volunteered the last 2 years. Hopefully everything works out and this fabulaous festival can continue to heppen.
